To allow more natural light to penetrate, TONAB was taskhe design team removed existing walls to open the space to existing high window openings. The blue wall subdivides the space while also providing transparency. Lighting upgrades included new wiring and conduit with new light fixtures meeting current energy codes. Wood flooring complements the finishes, restoring a material original to this school building, constructed in 1891.
