Tonab Architecture was retained to design a new 10 bed emergency room at Brookdale Hospital. This 1,400 SF space was previously utilized as a IT/ AV room with computers and a raised floor. After demolition, TONAB  created a space to optimize the workflow and also instill a sense of calm with a warm color palette and strategically placed materials that would assure patients and their families during critical moments. The space features a new ADA bathroom, a nurse station, an office and other ancillary areas to serve the facility.
